Vichaksh turns an Android phone into a dashcam. It records the road continuously, saves the clip by itself when something happens, and keeps every recording on your phone — not on our servers, because we do not have any. विचक्ष आपके एंड्रॉइड फ़ोन को डैशकैम बना देता है। यह सड़क को लगातार रिकॉर्ड करता है, कुछ होने पर क्लिप अपने आप सुरक्षित कर लेता है, और हर रिकॉर्डिंग आपके फ़ोन में ही रखता है — हमारे सर्वर पर नहीं, क्योंकि हमारे पास सर्वर हैं ही नहीं।

Continuous recording, cut into clips of the length you set, with no gap at the join. When the space you allowed runs out, the oldest ordinary clips make way — saved ones never do. लगातार रिकॉर्डिंग, आपकी तय लंबाई की क्लिप में — जोड़ पर कोई अंतराल नहीं। जगह भर जाने पर सबसे पुरानी साधारण क्लिप हटती हैं; सुरक्षित की गई क्लिप कभी नहीं।

A jolt the phone recognises as an impact keeps the clip before it, the one during it and the one after — the footage from before is usually the part that matters. One tap does the same by hand. टक्कर जैसा झटका महसूस होते ही उससे पहले की, उस समय की और उसके बाद की क्लिप रख ली जाती है — काम की बात अक्सर पहले वाली क्लिप में होती है। एक टैप से यही हाथ से भी हो जाता है।

Point a spare phone at a room or a door. It keeps only the clips where something moved, and tells you when something does — and it keeps the seconds before, which a camera that waits for movement has already missed. पुराने फ़ोन को कमरे या दरवाज़े की ओर लगा दें। जिनमें हलचल हुई, केवल वही क्लिप रखी जाती हैं, और हलचल होते ही आपको बता दिया जाता है — साथ में उससे पहले के कुछ पल भी, जो हलचल का इंतज़ार करने वाला कैमरा गँवा चुका होता है।

Backup goes to your own Google Drive, OneDrive or any folder you pick. Why an account at allखाता क्यों ज़रूरी है
Because cloud backup has to belong to something, and because anything paid for later must work on every phone you own rather than on one install. You sign in once, at home. After that the app keeps working with no signal — recording is never held up by an account, on any road, ever. क्योंकि क्लाउड बैकअप किसी न किसी खाते से जुड़ा होना चाहिए, और आगे चलकर जो सुविधाएँ पैसे से मिलें वे आपके हर फ़ोन पर चलनी चाहिए, केवल एक इंस्टॉल पर नहीं। आप एक बार, घर पर साइन इन करते हैं। उसके बाद ऐप बिना नेटवर्क भी चलता रहता है — रिकॉर्डिंग कभी, किसी सड़क पर, खाते के कारण नहीं रुकती।
